This beautiful Christmas morning, the Dopefiend is joined in the Dope Den by a horde of hungry DopeTribers for a festive celebration of our secret sacrament, which kicks off with a taste of Grapefruit Diesel and Maui Wowie as the Dopefiend chats to Hatchy, Scottobaggins, Green Lady and Blank Steve about why Christmas and ganja go so well together, the new PVHES Turbo mouthpiece for the Arizer Solo, before turning to regular News reporter Homer the Stoner, who explains why he loves his Solo so much, and tells all about his new monthly news show, the Cannabulletin on, and also takes a look over one of the biggest cannabis news stories of the year, the story of Peter Reynolds and his strange tenure as leader of the former Legalise Cannabis Alliance and how it led to the formation of NORML-UK and the success of the UK Cannabis Social Club movement, as the third strain, Blank Steve's Iced Grapefruit, makes the rounds. Next, the Dopefiend passes round some "Mystery Weed" while he talks to video podcaster Kush King and St. Wolf about their involvement with their local UKCSC, before the conversation turns to the exorbitant prices of cannabis these days. Next, the DopeTribers sample some Shark and talk about exotic imported strains and how available they are, before Max Freakout arrives just in time to taste some Lewisham City Diesel, as the conversation turns to whether cannabis sommeliers will be in demand in Colorado and Washington. Kicking the stoneage up a gear, the Dopefiend introduces Headband into the mix before a musical interlude courtesy of Zee Avi. Refreshed after a brief rest, the Dopefiend and gathered DopeTribers tuck into some Aunt Bessie UK Cheese and some Topmonkeyboy Great White Shark as the Dopefiend talks to Max Freakout about his 2012, which has led him away from Psychonautica and towards the world of academia, and about whether psychedelic research is becoming more accepted in scientific circles. Next, the Dopefiend packs the Arizer Solo with some freshly harvested Bella and some extremely potent G13 Haze from Aunt Bessie, before talking to Kush King about his first year as a video podcaster on, and about his feelings around the Dopefiend's move to a monthly schedule, before the Dopefiend steers the conversation to the ups and downs of cannabis law in the Netherlands this year. Next, Blank Steve confuses the Dopefiend with some stoned gibberish, leading the Dopefiend to talk about how the Network will be adapting to fill the space left when the Dopecast becomes a monthly show. As the Dopefiend chats with Homer the Stoner about the last big cannabis news story of the year, the legalisation of cannabis in Colorado and Washington, and re-cap the first eleven strains tasted so far, Hatchy fires up his dabbing rig and administers some OG Kush wax to Homer the Stoner and Kush King before the Dopefiend himself steps forward to take his medicine and rounds off the festive festivities for this year's Christmas Day as the gathered DopeTribers line up to take their hit on the dabbing rig before heading off for the rest of day's celebrations. Don't miss the last DopeTribe Dispatches of this season on New Year's Eve, before the Dopecast returns on January 7th.
