On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about last week's federally-backed raids on San Diego's medical marijuana dispensaries, and how it's just a further disappointment following all the hope of President Obama's campaign promises to end the raids, describes the rock and the hard place between which medical marijuana caregivers and patients currently reside in the US, and also talks about how such ambiguity in the law on cannabis allows sadistic officials to exploit the infirm to abusive degrees. Moving on to the emails, the Dopefiend covers such varied subjects as the benefits of giving up smoking and becoming vape-only, using the iolite vaporizer at the movies, why using a bong is more harmful than smoking joints or pipes, hemp shoes, how the vapor revolution is affecting the stoner youth and how easy it can be to grow your own. Next, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to taste some White Rhino fresh from the Netherlands, and to talk about the latest series of Weeds, before pausing for a musical interlude from DopeTriber Herodian. Returning to the emails, the Dopefiend discusses re-vaping the sticky residue left on some vaporizers, using cannabis when young, and why the Dopefiend feels it's better to hold off until later life, why there's not much rock on the Dopecast and what to do with vapo-poop. In the Cannabis News: two British cops face charges for trying to fit up a squatter on a cannabis charge, Arizona rules that religious beliefs don't excuse you from laws restricting cannabis use, and another brick of bud washes up on a Florida beach. hi dopefiend, as a bong user i am wondering what makes you say that bongs are more harmfull than spliffs or pipes? after a few bongs my downpipe goes completly brown with tar and a few further bowls makes the water becomes brown and smelly, this must be filtering something? also, i use uncooked rice or occationally activated carbon in the downpipe to filter and find this reduces tar build up hugely. is taking the smoke further into the lungs really more problematic considering the extra filtration? hope you get back to me on this. love your podcast. never missed one :)
