On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast,
the Dopefiend talks about how diplomatic immunity apparently
doesn't extend as far as the charge of smuggling cannabis,
something which an Ethiopian official recently discovered to her
cost when trying to carry large quantities of cannabis into the
United Kingdom. Turning to the emails, the Dopefiend reads a
thought-provoking communication from ZyBear, who talks about the
meaning of the drug experience, with particular reference to the
Dopefiend's own recent journey of self-discovery. ZyBear writes
about how our view of a drug and the experience it delivers shifts
dramatically depending on whether we are in the midst of the
experience, in its aftermath, or examining it from afar, leading
the Dopefiend to talk about what he has taken from the integration
of the whole experience, including some insight into how drug
experiences can shed light on areas of our real lives which would
benefit from change, how we can be individuals yet still feel
connected, and the fluid nature of reality. Heading into the
VaporLounge, the Dopefiend talks about how the Olympics apparently
came and went without really attracting his attention, but how it
seemed to have the effect of putting the whole city of London into
a temporary altered state, very similar to a mass drug experience.
Following a musical interlude from DopeTriber Brainchild, Shock and
Stoo bring us this week's Cannabis News, including more on the
Dutch Wietpas, the rejection of the LA dispensary ban, why cannabis
drug tests aren't suitable for infants, the US government's tight
grip on the patent for cannabis as an MS treatment, the NAACP join
the fight against the war on drugs, NORML UK's search for Dutch
medical cannabis users, and the massive underground cannabis farm
discovered in an Italian tunnel. Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a
voicemail, follow @dopefiend and

VaporLounge on twitter, and check out the forum.
