On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast,
the Dopefiend reveals news of the first reliable study into the
effects of ecstasy on the brain, which shows that there are no real
harms caused by the pure form of the drug, and talks about the
injustice done to former chief UK drug adviser Professor David
Nutt, who was fired for suggesting the same thing. Turning to this
week's emails, the Dopefiend talks about joining the vaporizer
revolution and how some stoners are still angrily resistant of the
new toking technology, and where the real harm lies in heroin
addiction. Heading into the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend gives a
mention for David Presti's Drugs and the Brain lectures, before
celebrating the arrival of some incredible organic Blue Cheese in
his stash box and firing up the iolite vaporizer to have a first
taste, then updating the DopeTribe on the bizarre story concerning
the disappearance of the Gremlin of Ganja, G13. Following a musical
interlude from DopeTribe elder Safron, the Dopefiend talks about
the Light Up the Sky campaign set up by HomeGrown Outlaw, which
will see the earth's skies riddled with sky lanterns on the evening
of 4/20. Next, we hear from ioliteknight and others testing out the
iolite's vapor optimizer at this year's Entheogenesis Australis. In
this week's Cannabis News: A new poll suggests Americans are in
favour of legalization, Scotland becomes an international exporter
of cannabis, Canada's navy participate in a major US-led cocaine
bust, A car accident victim gets a $5000-grow op courtesy of
Quebec's auto insurance protection agency, Salvia faces a canadian
ban, a New Zealand mulitple sclerosis sufferer will go on hunger
strike if imprisoned for his use of cannabis, the Danish government
wins the right to crush Freetown Christiania, the UK's Legalize
Cannabis Alliance elect Peter Reynolds as their new leader, and how
the Chilean miners were more like "pot-holers" after toking up on
smiggled marijuana during their ordeal. Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail, follow
