Stoner Chicks Episode, Part 1: The Girls Down Under!

G'day and welcome to Episode 23 of BB's Bungalow and this is Part I of the Stoner Chick's episodes!  The first stoner chick's special back in Episode 11 was *so* popular that we've been asked to put together another one!

In Part I we'll be joined by some ladies that enjoy toking the weed downunder here in Australia: HermitGirl, Josstone, Bucket and special guest Nico Vicious who has come to visit, all the way from the Urban Smoker Podcast.  I'll be keeping my talk to a minimum as I've got heaps of stuff for you guys this month - interviews, music and more comedy.  So pack ya vapes, roll some spliffs and settle in with your favourite tokin' gal pals at BB's Bungalow on the Dopefiend.co.uk podcast network.

Thank you to Larz133, Mr Wink and Pete21 for the music contributions and to Pip Boy for this episode's podcast artwork.

On this week's epsiode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend is LIVE on the banks of the River Thames with Dopetriber Esse B and Dopefiend.co.uk's resident entheo-pundit Max Freakout to talk in detail about the extraordinary story of Esse B's 11-year battle against the bizarre condition Cannabinoid Hyperemesis, the symptoms, the cause, the misdiagnoses, and the response from the cannabis community to the discovery of this condition. The discussion then moves on to how the pro-legalization movement can be as blinkered and as guilty of spreading unfounded propaganda as the prohibition movement, and why it's important to speak with honesty about cannabis, and how it can be a positive move to reduce one's cannabis intake anyway. Next up, the trio fire up the iolite and pack it full of some tasty Blue Cheese while talking about the origins of UK Cheese and the UK breeding scene, and whether the true original UK Cheese is still available anywhere. Following a hardcore musical interlude, the three Dopetribe representatives relocate to the very windy water's edge for a chat about this year's UK festival season, with Esse B giving his views of the recent GocStock festival, and Max Freakout and the Dopefiend looking ahead to the ever-approaching Big Chill, which is shaping up to be an absolute monster, featuring many mind-bending substances and thousands of zombies. Finally, the Dopefiend, Esse B and Max Freakout talk about a couple of this month's Cannabis News stories, starting with the mainstream press's insistence that a 17 year-old chef died due to being "ravaged" by cannabis use, and the positive news that more than half of all those fined since the introduction of tougher cannabis laws in the UK have refused to pay up. Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail and drop by our Skype Virtual VaporLounge, and check out the forum.

On this week's episode of the Dopecast, the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcaster talks about the recommendations from a Dutch government Commission to turn cannabis coffeeshops into members-only clubs in an attempt to put an end to large-scale drug tourism from neighbouring European countries, what it could mean for the scene in Amsterdam, and whether there's any reason for the DopeTribe to worry. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend talks about his marriage, whether Dopegirl will ever appear on the Dopecast, studying while using cannabis, some advice about visiting Amsterdam and sore throats while vaping and how to avoid them.  Heading into the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend tastes some strong-flavoured Brainstorm while talking about the demographic breakdown of cannabis users and why it seems more men use cannabis than women, then chats about the impending Big Chill and how the Dopetribe will be able to "find the others" out at Eastnor. Returning after a vapour-themed musical interlude, the Dopefiend reads more emails, covering the difficulties of living a secret stoner life and how to meet like-minded folks, more on the perfect grinder, and whether the answer is simpler than the Dopefiend thought, we hear from the Dopefiend Network's first underwater listener, and hear his review of the Da Buddha vaporizer, and we hear from Christine, who gives a roundup of the legalization movement's progress in Oregon. In this week's Cannabis News, Robert Anton Wilson's medical marijuana card is auctioned off to the "highest" bidder, licensed medical marijuana users get the go-ahead to sue police who violate their rights to their choice of medicine, and the non-profit medical cannabis delivery service that advertises its wares on Twitter! Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail and drop by our Skype Virtual VaporLounge, and check out the forum.

On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about Canada's self-styled Prince of Pot, Marc Emery, who has finally given up his fight against extradition to the United States for selling seeds to American customers, and has embarked on his "farewell tour" to the Canadian cannabis community. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend covers such varied subjects as the chances of full cannabis legalization in California, using vapo-poop and kif to make powerful stoner edibles, the Vapor Bros vaporizer, how tea with Ginseng can counter-act the sleepyness brought on by regular cannabis use, conspiracy theories and why human beings are so willing to embrace them, the British National Health Service and whether it would work as a model for a socialized healthcare system in the USA, whether vaporizing can eliminate the powerful munchies craving, keeping your cannabis habit secret from your partner, and which portable vaporizer is best suited to sneaky stealth toking. Hitting the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend gives the Magic Flight Launch Box vaporizer a test run with some tasty Nebula, and compares it with the iolite for stealth, efficiency and portability. Back from the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend returns to the emails, talking about the difficulties of living in a predominantly anti-cannabis community, and how cannabis users should stand up for their rights, for example by refusing to convict when summoned for jury duty on a cannabis case, how the iolite can enhance your health, especially when coupled with hikes in the woods, whether cannabis can make you more introverted or more extroverted and what factors determine which outcome, a fascinating story from Josh about a very difficult situation brought about by false allegations of cannabis growing and sexual abuse, whether the Volcano vaporizer's Solid Valve or Easy Valve system is better suited to the average stoner, and we hear a weird cannabis trip report from Grant. In this week's Cannabis News: more evidence contradicting the belief that cannabis use causes schizophrenia or other psychoses, New Zealand rejects legal medical marijuana after seven years of deliberation on the subject, a sleazy bus driver forces underage girls to strip to their underwear, claiming he suspected them of carrying cannabis, and California's dispensaries beg the government to tax them! On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about the news that Washington is to end its policy of opium poppy eradication in Afghanistan, further evidence of some common sense approaches being applied in the War on Drugs. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend covers "stuck podcast syndrome", how the Dopefiend Network helps listeners get through periods of abstinence, the Big Chill, the stoner scene in Barbados, more on Terminator Salvation, colour blindness and how it effects cannabis use or cultivation, the strange condition of Cannabinoid Hyperemesis and how it's struck the DopeTribe, a recommendation for anti-red-eye drops, some praise for our very own entheo-pundit Max Freakout, Happy Chief filters and whether they really work, Medical Marijuana Inc and the projects they're working on, the Arizer V-Tower vaporizer and how it compares to the Vapir family of vaporizers, whether you can be friends with people who strongly disagree with your opinions on cannabis, some iolite troubleshooting and praise for the world's best portable vaporizer. Speaking of which, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to taste a bit of Arjan's Haze in his iolite and to talk about how Cannabis copes with passing time, and to read an email from Chasing for Courtship featuring some of his more leftfield stoner revelations, before settling down to hear his latest musical creation. Back from the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend gives a mention to Psychedelic Podfather Lorenzo's new audiobook, The Genesis Generation, and DopeTriber Ostritt's novel Beyond The Basin, before moving on to talk about the lack of risks associated with cannabis use by pregnant women, the dangers of becoming addicted to the Dopefiend Podcast Network, the reliability of vaporizers on eBay, and an example of how almost a century of anti-drug propaganda affects reasonable people. In this week's Cannabis News, a mayoral candidate has the solution to Flint, Michigan's ills, The "Nice People Take Drugs" campaign release their "World Leader" deck of playing cards in a bid to expose drug-related hypocrisy, and stoned wallabies take the rap for a recent spate of Tasmanian crop circles!
