Get your Vaporizer from VapeFiend

On the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast this week, the Dopefiend talks about how today sees Marc Emery turning himself in to the authorities to begin his extradition to the United States for selling cannabis seeds after a gruelling four-year struggle. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend talks about the positive feedback following last week's LSD audio, whether you can find good buds in Myrtle Beach, whether there should be a Dopefiend.co.uk iPod app, the rare phenomenon of Dopecast hate mail, whether psychedelics connect us to our feminine energies, how recreational cannabis users are often also unwitting medical users, and we hear a brief cannabis trip report from Mr Rushh. Next, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to fire up the Volcano vaporizer and sample the powerful indica stone of some Purple Kush while talking about next year's DopeStock, the forthcoming UK Hemp Expo in London, and next year's release of Mr Nice: The Movie before taking a musical interlude courtesy of Tyson. Before returning to the emails, the Dopefiend mentions a couple of old documentaries about London he's recently rediscovered, then talks about why cannabis and psychedelics are more feared by the authorities than alcohol, cocaine and prescription drugs, the anonymity of the DopeTribe and the Dopefiend himself, the line between reality and gaming, and whether playing games on psychedelics is a valuable experience. In this week's Cannabis News: Denmark considers legalizing cannabis in an effort to reduce gang crime, Florida detectives are caught on camera playing Wii bowling during a drug raid, and the Greek guerrilla grower who tried (and failed) to hide in plain sight! Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail and drop by our Skype Virtual VaporLounge, and check out the forum.

On the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast this week, the Dopefiend talks about the recently released figures concerning the number of cannabis-related arrests in the United States last year, why last year marked the first drop in arrests since 2003, and how a drop in arrests coincides with an increase in people admitting use of cannabis. Moving on to the emails, the Dopefiend talks about how cannabis use can induce feelings of paranoia and depression in some people, whether there are similar risks associated with psychedelics, and the best course of action for those who feel they may be affected by such problems. Next the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to vape a pinch of Aunt Bessie's Lemon Skunk and talk about his return, last week, to the LSD dimension after a decade-long period of acid abstinence, before introducing audio highlights from the trip itself, which feature the Dopefiend and Son of Gonzo visiting Panorama Park during the peak of the experience, discussing UFOs, the ineffable energy and life of London, consciousness expansion versus corprate materialism, whether riding the grockle of London into the end of the world would be the ideal way to face the eschaton, visions of a shipwreck and a reptile-infested swamp, and a nitrous-oxide fuelled identity crisis. Following an acid-themed musical interlude, the Dopefiend returns to talk briefly about London, the popularity of cocaine in certain London circles and why police worldwide seem less concerned about cocaine use than cannabis use, before DopeTriber LIFT brings us his report from last week's Portland, Oregon HempStalk Festival, in which he brings us all the atmosphere from the event, describes some cutting edge cannabis edibles, and talks to Chris Henry from the Oregon Green Party, NORML executive director Allen St Pierre, John from Oregon Green Free. Finally, in the Cannabis News this week, Jack Herer remains in a critical condition following his heart attack at HempStalk, medical marijuana patients and caregivers lobby Washington officials for the right to grow cannabis for more than one patient, and New Mexico's sole provider of medical marijuana can't keep up with demand from patients. On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about last week's federally-backed raids on San Diego's medical marijuana dispensaries, and how it's just a further disappointment following all the hope of President Obama's campaign promises to end the raids, describes the rock and the hard place between which medical marijuana caregivers and patients currently reside in the US, and also talks about how such ambiguity in the law on cannabis allows sadistic officials to exploit the infirm to abusive degrees. Moving on to the emails, the Dopefiend covers such varied subjects as the benefits of giving up smoking and becoming vape-only, using the iolite vaporizer at the movies, why using a bong is more harmful than smoking joints or pipes, hemp shoes, how the vapor revolution is affecting the stoner youth and how easy it can be to grow your own. Next, the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge to taste some White Rhino fresh from the Netherlands, and to talk about the latest series of Weeds, before pausing for a musical interlude from DopeTriber Herodian. Returning to the emails, the Dopefiend discusses re-vaping the sticky residue left on some vaporizers, using cannabis when young, and why the Dopefiend feels it's better to hold off until later life, why there's not much rock on the Dopecast and what to do with vapo-poop. In the Cannabis News: two British cops face charges for trying to fit up a squatter on a cannabis charge, Arizona rules that religious beliefs don't excuse you from laws restricting cannabis use, and another brick of bud washes up on a Florida beach. On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend talks about how the change in US public opinion concerning the so-called dangers of cannabis use, in particular the recent Rasmussen survey showing that Americans now view alcohol as more harmful. Hitting the emails, the Dopefiend talks about the dangers of today's "ecstasy" pills, which often contain MDA or even more unpleasant chemicals rather than good old-fashioned MDMA, the benefits of using coconut oil to clean your smoking or vaporizing equipment, or even yourself, other safe ways to clean your vaporizer, and why isopropyl alcohol is not safe unless any remaining residue is removed, why wooden pipes or acrylic bongs aren't the best choice for smokers, and why smokers often don't feel the full benefits of the vapour experience until they give up smoking, the possibility of a urine-powered iolite, and how too much vape can be a bad thing. Next, the Dopefiend fires up his iolite and tastes some Amnesia Haze while chatting about how he's still enjoying the world's best portable vaporizer, how G13 used his to near-destruction, and how best to avoid the perils of mouldy weed. Then, considerably hazy, he takes a musical interlude courtesy of DopeTriber Pojut, before talking about whether the iolite functions well at low temperatures or in high wind, and whether it's possible to eke the high out of your vapo-poop as you can with a Volcano vaporizer. Evan emails for some first-time shroom tripping advice, then, in the Cannabis News: the new roadside drug test and why it could aid the fight for legalization, new research shows cannabis could treat skin disorders, the RCMP's flying eye stamps out Canada's outdoor grow-ops, 2 British pensioners face charges for importing massive quantities of hash into the UK, the man who got busted for trying to pay his gas station bill with ganja, and Dutch authorities trumpet their latest herb haul... only to find they destroyed the local university's supply of industrial hemp!  Email mail@dopefiend.co.uk, send us a voicemail and drop by our Skype Virtual VaporLounge, and check out the forum.
