On this week's special Dopecast Live from the DopeCave Cup
Winners' Celebrations, the Dopefiend is joined by a 20-man
contingent of DopeTribers from all over the United Kingdom to
celebrate the successful passing of the first ever cannabis
growers' and breeders' competition on British soil. The tribe
gather on the south bank of the River Thames for an all-day
sunshine smoking session as the Dopefiend talks to two of the
judges, Nexus from Shroom with a View, and the most hated man in
the DopeTribe, the Gremlin of Ganja, about the awesome new Magic
Flight Launch Box water pipe adaptor and mains power adaptor which
were used by the judges to trial the strains and what made the
winning strain so special. Next, the Dopefiend announces the
winners as Nexus and the Gremlin talk through their decisions,
before the Dopefiend reads the acceptance speeches from the three
champions. Next, the Dopefiend sits next to DopeStock 2011
attendant CheezeTheDay as he skins up a very expensive spliff, and
the pair talk about the high price of ganja in London and the UK in
general, and what could have caused the recent price hikes, how the
DopeCave Cup will advance the cannabis scene in Britain, how many
others have emulated the success of the Dopefiend Network with
great results, and how our cannabis culture compares to the scene
in the US, before a brief interruption from Esse B on the phone,
who can't get through the crowds at Notting Hill Carnival. After a
musical interlude, the Dopefiend talks to Billy G about his
response to the Dopefiend's recent interview on the C-Realm podcast
about the London riots, before moving on to his thoughts about the
DopeCave Cup and why he didn't enter one of his own strains, then
the Dopefiend catches up with another pair of Dopestockers,
Scragtag and Skizz, who both give the WISPR vaporizer a try and
gives their thoughts on it as it vaporizes a salad of the DopeCave
Cup entries, then the Dopefiend chats to Skizz's partners in crime
Scottobaggins, Green Lady and Number 3 about their access to good
ganja and their representation of Hempnut at the Cup. Next, the
Dopefiend talks to Mrs Mole who for once is briefly flying solo
without her normal cohort TeenagePie, and who talks about her
broken iolite, before Jay K arrives and gives his reflections on
the announcement of the winners as one of the DopeCave Cup judges.
Next, the Dopefiend checks in with Flick and the Gremlin of Ganja
who talk about the heavy police presence near the judging of the
DopeCave Cup and the total lack of police at the winners'
celebrations. Heading into the "New Faces Niche", the Dopefiend
chats to Professor Vape about his thoughts on the WISPR and also
talks about how he's given up smoking since discovering vaporizers,
before checking in with GordonBourbonBiscuit, mildlyamuseduk,
Ganjaa_Man, Jammin and Megarusso. Next, TeenagePie rocks up to give
his opinion on the WISPR, his response to the Big Chill dopecasts
and the fabulous news of Jay K's return to health, and chats about
the awesome Trailer Park Boys, before introducing Quayle's Egg
who's just bought his own WISPR and is using it to vape some Jack
Herer. Next, the Dopefiend chats to Mrs. Ann about the experience
of having a huge smoke out in full view of the general public, how
it's often safer to be brazen than to be furtive, and why there
hasn't been a growers' and breeders' cup in Britain before. Finally
the Dopefiend sits back next to Nexus, who talks about his recent
beginner's guide to growing mushrooms on Shroom with a View, and
