In an extra-special one-off feature length pre-festival extravaganza, the Dopefiend links the Dope Den via satellite to Jay_K's Joint in the North of England to vaporize some fragrant herbs, chat and showcase some of the best musical acts from the coming weekend's Big Chill line-up. First, in the VaporLounge, the Dopefiend is joined by special guests Squidgy Sid and G13 for a bag full of Jack Flash vapour and a chat about how they've prepared for the festival and how they plan on powering the mighty Volcano in the middle of the English countryside and some discussion of how to work the psychedelics into the weekend's programme of events, some chat about whether the Podcast Network is a help or a hindrance to those trying to cut back on their Cannabis consumption, the possibilities of the Dopefiend having his first ever MDMA experience at the Big Chill and Squidgy and G13's anticipation of their first mushroom experience, which leads to some MDMA and mushroom stories, including some talk of how MDMA can bring on a psychedelic-style experience and some chat about Nitrous Oxide too, whether or not there should be a roll-off in the DopeTent, why some people just don't get the glory that is the Mighty Boosh. Then, the Dopefiend and friends hand over the reins of the Big Chill Pre-party to Dopestock veteran and forum and Virtual VaporLounge regular Jay_K who plays some more Big Chill themed tunes and chats to fellow Big Chillers and Dopestock survivors Flick and Star about what they're looking forward to about the weekend and what separates the Chill from the bigger British festivals, their own festival experience and how the family has affected their lives, what acts the guys are particularly keen to see, whether or not the Mighty Boosh's performance will be a musical set or a comedy show, whether there's anything to fear in terms of drug security or searches, what goodies they're thinking of bringing with them and whether or not they'll be seeking a psychedelic experience at the festival, Flick gives her tips and tricks for surviving a festival. So fuel up the car or hop on your train or coach, hit play, and prepare yourself for a weekend like no other!
